Nestled in the heart of the historic Estates section of Haddonfield, this 1928 classic was a home Holly couldn’t ignore. She had been quietly watching the listing for a few weeks, captivated by its charm, character, and potential.

 

The location alone was enough to catch her attention—just a short walk to the shops and restaurants on Kings Highway, set on a storybook tree-lined street, and within walking distance of Haddonfield’s Blue Ribbon schools. Add to that the rarity of a detached garage under $1 million in this neighborhood, and Holly knew it was something truly special.

 

But it wasn’t just the features that drew her in—it was the story. The home’s rich history was palpable. The former owners raised five children here. The husband had helped design local parks; his wife had offered piano lessons to neighborhood children for decades. Their contributions to the community were as enduring as the house itself. Holly is always drawn to older homes for this reason—the stories of the past give them a soul that no new construction can replicate.
